Christmas at chelow and jorges

I spent Christmas Eve with a lot of good friend! Our friends Chelow and Jorge hosted at their home and Chelow out did herself cooking!!! The food was amazing and the company even better!!!!! Torri, Ryan, Sherry and her boyfriend from Dallas also joined us!~!

The New Malecón

I took the day off yesterday to go for a walk on the new malecon here in PV . It's absolutely beautiful they have bikes kayaks and strollers for kids free for use for the public. Definitely a step in the right direction very excited about this way to go Puerto Vallarta!!!

Christmas Recap!

Little Kamryn Jo Mann came in to the world and our family on November 28, 2011 and we are all totally smitten and head over heels in love with her! She is the best baby. I got to fly on on December 4th and stay until the 15th to cuddle with my girl! Then it was back to Vallarta to work work work and get orders out for Christmas! I know I have a lot of blogging to cacth up on but for today enjoy the Christmas recap photos!!!

Almost home!

Tonight is my last night in Oxatapec..........it has been 26 days on the road and I am ready to sleep in my own bed! I've been to Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, all over Mexico City, Puebla, Cuernavaca, many towns in between and finally last weekend we spent the weekend in Toluca attending the wedding of good friends Maru and Polo. The wedding was great but Toluca was cold cold cold! I am happy to be heading back to the beach tomorrow!!! I have so much to do I can hardly think about sleeping tonight but I know I have to. Antonio will take me to Cuernavaca tomorrow where I will grab a bus to Mexico City Airport and then a quick 1 hour flight to Vallarta!!!
I will give a complete wrap up of my trip next week but for now I will leave you with a few photos of the wedding weekend!!!!!

Ahh Mexico City!

I am loving the city! I love the vibe, the energy and the sheer size! For the most part people have been kind, only one small incident where a man was beating the bus window with his cane becuase the bus driver almost ran him over, I guess that's a typical day in the city. We rode the metro (Mexico City Subway) it's great during the day, you can get from one place to another in a hurry and for CHEAP .30 Cents! Yeah I know. We have made some amazing contacts and have some great new clients here. We will be coming back in November for the opening of one of the new stores that picked up our lines. I will also then be selling a line to a great store in Polanco. So lots and lots to look forward to!
We are under a pretty major hurricane warning in Puerto Vallarta today. It's creeping in on us at a category 3............I am nervous as I am not there to take care of my house, workshop or my belongings. My friend who is house sitting called yesterday and said her and her husband have it all planned out and are at my house now putting everything in the back bedroom! Yikes!

Off to the antique flea market here, can't wait to see what we will find!! To Cuernavaca tomorrow morning to pick up more clients!

Mexico City~La Condesa

Cancun proved to be a tough selling ground for us! We worked 12 hour days, went to countless appointments in Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen and Cancun. We did get a great new client in Cancun in Plaza Kulkulcan............Joyeria Rubys, if you are down that way to forget to look for me! We are getting ready to pound the pavement in Mexico City in La Condes and La Roma, the markets here are looking very very good!

Done!

Jewelry is done, tagged, bagged and packed away in my sweet styish carry on bag with wheels! Catalog is done and ready to go to print tomorrow..................

then a pedicure, can't be bopping around Playa Del Carmen with my troll toes! Last workout with the trainer of my 10 sessions tomorrow morning, home to pack, get bills paid and get things wrapped up. I am still feeling so overwhelmed about packing for 3 weeks of a trip......................One good thing is that by tomorrow night it has to be done!

Up to my eyeballs~

I am still here, I didn't abandon you all, I am just making my last hard push to finish up everything before I leave next week. I have been out opening bank accounts, working on Immigration papers, which are now done, approved and in my possession. I went to my wholesaler today (also my friend who I will be traveling with) and got some BLACK pearls.....they are oh so yummy!!!! So I am on my 10 minute break between bracelets and just thought I would say Hi!~ What are you all up to this week?

Turdtastic!

So Danny and I went to Galerias Mall just to buy him a new Blackberry, oh yeah he got new sunglasses too!

Dannys 4 year old Blackberry was Turdtastic and well, we are all glad he got a new one. We ended up having a 2 hour sushi lunch, then went back to TelHELL because the phone wasn't receiving emails............After another 45 minutes in TelHELL we got emails rolling in! Then well we went shopping.........I got these AWESOME running pants at 70% off~~! Oh yeah baby love me some MARTI!

Danny also talked me into a beautiful chiffon purple dress from (sfera) for Polo and Maru's upcoming wedding in Toluca. I had a great dress from Banana Republic, but when I told Danny it was cotton, he almost fell down and said in a Jewish accent "Oh HONEY, cotton reeks of poverty, you must by the purple chiffon dress" So I did!

We decided since we had been at the mall for like 26 hours that we should just go ahead and stay for a movie too................. Midnight in Paris...........wait for Netfilx~
